When you Refer-A-Friend to Glo Fiber, you can earn:

  • Up to $50 per qualified referral.
  • Up to $600 in a calendar year when you refer eligible friends or family to Shentel.

How do I participate in the Shentel Refer a Friend Program?

To participate you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Have an active residential Shentel account in good standing, and remain in good standing throughout the referral process.
  • Refer friends through the specified landing page using the link provided in the email.

To refer friends:

  1. Click on the link provided in the email sent to you.
  2. Complete all the information on the form.
  3. When referring your friend, use the Email address your friend will use to sign up for service.
  4. The person you referred will receive an email letting them know they have been referred and if they sign up for service within 30 days, you will be eligible to receive a $50 Visa® prepaid card.
  5. Once your friend has had service installed and has remained a customer in good standing for 60 days, both you and your friend will be issued $50 Visa® Prepaid cards.

Where can I find my customer number?

Your customer number is located on your paper bill. You can also find it in your online account. Sign in to your account by visiting shentel.com, click Sign In, select Manage My Account and log in using your credentials. Your customer number should be on the main screen.

How do I get rewarded?

For the referring customer and the referred customer to receive a reward, the referred customer:

  • Cannot be an existing customer within the past 120 days and have
  • qualified services installed/activated within 30 days of the referral.
  • Must activate the referral by clicking in the email communication and ordering Shentel internet service online (or through the web).
  • Maintain qualifying service(s) for 60 consecutive days after installation/activation.
  • Must have an account in good standing for 60 days.*
  • *Note: The referring customer must also have an account in good standing for 60 days.
  • Once all requirements are met, both referring and referred customers will receive an email from Customer Motivators with instruction on how to claim their Visa prepaid card.
  • In order to receive your Visa prepaid card, you must click on the “Get Started” button in the email from Customer Motivators and complete the address information.

When will I receive my Visa prepaid card?

Prepaid cards are mailed to the new and original Shentel customer:

  • Once all requirements are met, both referring and referred customers will receive an email from Customer Motivators with instruction on how to claim their Visa prepaid card.
  • In order to receive your Visa prepaid card, you must click on the “Get Started” button in the email from Customer Motivators and complete the address information.
  • Prepaid cards are mailed within 18 weeks of activation of all required services. After your friend has maintained their eligible service for the 60-day period required under the program.

Can I combine this with other offers?

Yes, this offer can be combined with other Shentel promotional offers.

What does it mean for my account to be in good standing?

For your Shentel account to be considered in good standing, it cannot have an unpaid balance or be temporarily disconnected.

Who can I call if I do not receive my Visa Prepaid Card?

Please call Customer Motivators at 1-888-689-3420 and provide your Gift Claim code to the representative.

Are Glo Fiber or Shentel employees eligible to participate?

No. Employees of Shentel or any child companies will not be eligible to receive rewards as a referrer or a referree.

Restrictions apply. Not all services available in all areas. Must be 18 years or older to participate. The Referred Customer must install/activate Shentel service(s) within 30 days from date of the referral and both the Referring and Referred Customers must remain a Shentel customer in good standing for 60 consecutive days immediately following service activation before a Visa® Prepaid Card is awarded. Limit of up to $600 in Visa Prepaid Cards per calendar year will be awarded to the Referring customer. This rewards card is not a credit card. Use of this card is subject to cardholder agreement. No cash access. This card is issued by U.S. Bank National Association pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. Cards can be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted.
